1954 to 1998:
Revenue accounting in fast motion.
1954
New founding of Deutsche Lufthansa.
1955
Official start of Lufthansa Revenue Accounting in Hamburg, responsible for passage, freight and mail accounting .
1959
Separation of revenue accounting from book-keeping in an independent organisational unit.
1964
Introduction of first computer system using punched cards.
1973
First reorganisation of Revenue Accounting with approx. 400 employees, introduction of functional organisational forms â Interline, Traffic and Sales.
1985
Introduction of DEASS data, compilation, archiving and sorting system.
1986
Introduction of Management Support System MSS and switch from flight-based to sale-based data.
1990
Founding of Revenue Accounting, with about 950 employees; introduction of the system IMPALA, Integrated Method of Passenger Accounting and Local Administration, as core module of the Revenue Accounting system.
1991
Establishment of Berlin location.
1994
Lufthansa acquires an interest in RDM, Reservation Data Maintenance, in Delhi; cooperation with Revenue Accounting is intensified.
1996
Introduction of project HELIOS: providing for Revenue Accounting an innovative organisational structure â as precursor of the core project Sirius, Sales Based Interactive Revenue Information and User System, for central EDP modernisation.
1998 to 2008:
Milestones in the history of Lufthansa Revenue Services (LRS).
1998
The previous main department becomes the 100% Lufthansa subsidiary Lufthansa Revenue Services GmbH (LRS) with the organisational designation HAM DP.
1999
LRS becomes "Global Centre of Excellence for your Revenue Accounting".
2000
Introduction of new accounting system Sirax in June.
2002
LRS is transferred from Lufthansa Systems Group to Lufthansa Commercial Holding (LCH).
2005
The constantly changing parameters in the airline sector, steadily increasing cost pressure and fiercer competition prompt the introduction of the LRS project âDP 2010â for significantly simplifying and automating accounting processes.
2008
The Revenue Accounting system is enhanced on an ongoing basis under the title "Future of Sirax".
2009
Expansion of range of business intelligence products and solutions.
2010
Expansion of services for Group Carriers.
